Credit Due

Some people are so brilliant that most people don’t understand their brilliance. This guy took the time to elaborate on how to survive spacecraft design.

My experience shows this to be a remix of the reality for all vocations, from accounting to computer programming to truck driving, though the humor here is so dry you’ll want to take some water with you.

As much as we wish things to work right, they won’t. That’s where the fun begins. The fun stops when we forget that the reason we’re a “professional” is that we’re supposedly the most qualified individuals to handle the issues we’re currently facing.

Look at any story of intrepid adventure or personal victory, and you’ll encounter the same story: someone wanted something, and they got way in over their head, but they prevailed through to the end. Success is a hard-earned and never-lost trophy.
