Credit Due

Though I’m not a personal fan of some of the more extreme measures tied to the premise of sustainability (illegalizing cow farts, anyone?), I find it fascinating that some rather brilliant engineers are experimenting with an artificial leather substitute made of mushrooms.

This may take a while to become economically viable, but we may see a movement that rivals the polyester movement of the 1970’s!
