End Times 102: The True End

Bad Prophecies Of The End

Last updated 12/2018

Though the end of the world is coming soon, it needs some preparations

We are currently in some odd geopolitical circumstances (Matthew 24:5-8)

  • Wars are intensifying, and risks of wars are increasing
  • Famines and earthquakes are also sporadic, but we’re waiting for more significant events

Expect to wait a few years for events to start

  • We need a few things to streamline a transition into a single world government (Revelation 13:1-7, Daniel 7:16-24)
    • Moving to a single international time zone would simplify the transition
    • The world powers need to all adhere to leftist philosophies
  • Israel still needs to be at peace with its neighbors (Ezekiel 38-39)
    • Modern-day Iran will be part of a 10-nation alliance that will attack Israel (Psalm 83:1-8, Ezekiel 38:1-6)
    • Russia will be a part of that alliance (Gog), but they need to be a military superpower again
  • A third Jewish temple hasn’t been made yet, but will soon
    • For the Antichrist to defile the temple, they need to re-establish sacrifices in it (Ezekiel 37:26-28, Matthew 24:15, 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4)
  • We don’t see many false Christs right now (Matthew 24:24)

At the same time, many elements are already in place

  • Israel has been brought back as a nation as of 1948 (Deuteronomy 30:1-3)
    • However, over half the Jews are elsewhere in the world, especially in the United States
  • A unified world currency on the hand or forehead is now easily possible and advocated by many technologists (Revelation 13:16-17)
  • Leftism is quickly becoming the world’s unifying belief
    • Leftism believes itself to be a moral champion of justice without any connection to God or any religious affiliation
    • In truth, leftism is anti-God and wants to destroy God’s designated roles for gender, family, justice, and boundaries
    • One of the most effective agendas for control comes through discussions about climate change, global warming, and sustainability
    • Traveling the stars and colonizing other planets is a modern technology update of the Tower of Babel (Genesis 11)
  • The end times will have an entire worldwide culture of horrible people(1 Corinthians 5, 2 Timothy 3)
    • People who love themselves
    • People who love money
    • People who brag about themselves
    • Conceited and self-absorbed people
    • Abusive people
    • People who are disobedient to their parents
    • People ungrateful for what they have
    • People who live unholy lives
    • Unloving and brutal people
    • People who hold grudges
    • People who falsely state things to harm reputations
    • Unrestrained and reckless people
    • People who hate good things
    • People who betray others
    • People who love pleasure more than they love God
    • People who have a form of godliness, but deny any of its power
    • Avoid these people whenever possible
    • If these people call themselves Christians, don’t even associate with or eat with them

When the final times come, there will be no question that it’s the end

Don’t guess future timing, since prophecy is intentionally mysterious to anyone reading it before its fulfillment

Some parts, such as worldwide earthquakes, are inherently clear (Revelation 6:12)

Someone is coming with tremendous influence who will work Satan’s will (2 Thessalonians 2:9-10)

  • This person or group will make peace with all the world leaders who will trust him or it implicitly (Daniel 7:20, Revelation 6:1)
  • The Antichrist will make a significant peace treaty for seven years (Daniel 9:27)
  • During the tribulation, Satan will demand worship from everyone and command fire from heaven (Revelation 13:13-14)

Disasters are coming that the world has never seen before (Matthew 24:21, Daniel 9:24-27, Revelation 6-18)

  • Some people say these prophecies will fulfill over thousands of years, but will more likely occur over seven years

Satan will establish Babylon again (Revelation 17)

Christ will come back and defeat Babylon, the world, and Satan (Revelation 18-19)

God will throw Satan into hell (Revelation 20:1-3)

Christ will set up a new Israel kingdom on Jerusalem that will last 1,000 years (Revelation 20:4-6)

  • Some dispensationalists believe Israel has now become the Body of Christ, but Scripture doesn’t support it (Romans 11:17-18)

Many Christians believe Jesus will take up (rapture) all the Christians before the final times

Some people falsely attribute some passages to the rapture

  • Jesus says one man will be taken from two walking, but the verses seem to imply genocide (Matthew 24:40-41, Luke 17:34-37)

At the same time, the Bible explicitly clarifies that God will take believers out of the tribulation (Revelation 7:9-14)

Not much evidence confirms or denies the Rapture

  • Revelation doesn’t specify the world noticing Christians spirited out of the apocalypse
    • They may be preoccupied with other end-times hardship, or most of the Christians might be dead by this point
  • If the world increases its persecution before the Antichrist arrives, it may eradicate Christianity from the earth
